LAST WEEK OF 'SORRY'!!

This is the last week of the Hamilton Fringe Festival!! Lots of great shows, performances and exhibitions yet to see!! We are all going to Check out Miss Cadaver this Saturday 12th, the last night of Fringe....not to be missed! Plus we'll probably all head out for a wee celebratory drink afterwards... something to look forward to, despite the end drawing near!

Its been a fantastic show this year, made all the more fun by the cool crew of people we've had involved in 'Sorry..' 

Its going to be sad packing all of this up!

SATURDAY NIGHT AT THE METEOR

Great night tonight at The Meteor - lots of people and lots going on.. Just checked out Phantasos - dreamy, mystical, humourous, beautifully awkward...too bad tonight was the last night, as I know a lot of people who would have loved to see it!

Lady Babula's Travelling Cabinet of Curios - Becks Popham

Ladies and Gentlemen! Your attention please! Come observe the delights and frights of Lady Babula's Travelling Cabinet of Curios!! Be prickled and tickled by the marvelously monsterous Golden Backed Rhino Beetle. Be hazed and dazed by her selection of Mind Melding Mud Mushrooms. Be bitten but smitten with the less-than-hirsute Herbacious Rodents. Be truly tickled pink by her motley crew of unspeakable oddments!!

'calentia carnivora deserto fungus dat umbra eminens super oculum ad limax' - Ani Fourie and Shawn Rolton

Here we find the rarely seen calentia carnivora deserto fungus.... (rarely not because they are rare per say but rather they just suck to hang out with) giving shade to what we can only assume to be a slow (even for a super oculum ad limax) super oculum ad limax.

WE WILL BE FEATURING OTHER ARTISTS FROM THE EXHIBTION OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS... DONT FORGET TO STOP PAST AND CHECK OUT THE WORK IN PERSON! NOT TO BE MISSED!

OPENING NIGHT MAGIC!!

Had such a great time @ OUR FRINGE FESTIVAL EXHIBITION OPENING! I have to say its probably my fave expo yet! 

Thanks for all the amazing artwork that filled the expo nicely and made the show what it is - SPECTACULAR! So nice to see people enjoying the artwork and space! 

The exhibition is on till the 12th of October, open 5pm til late weekdays and 11am til late weekends. Mel and I will be there most of this weekend and next.

After the event we checked out the puppet show 'In Absentia',  a Christchurch group! It was amazing well worth a watch 'morbidly magical'. Its on the tomorrow and Saturday (27th and 28th September) at 7.30pm! You can get tickets online @ www.hamiltonfringe.co.nz
